what cameras were used to take iconic images of the 1960s, like abbey road?
i want to take a photo of the 1960's. well actually i want to recreate one, i would like to use the same equipment if possible.
what i am asking is?
can you name a better iconic image of the 60`s that isnt abbey road
what cameras were used to create it.
please dont just list cameras availible in the 1960's!! ive looked. there is loads! ideally i would like someone to tell me what kind of image quality it produces!
Hasselblad is a great camera from the era and was used by many pros, but I imagine more "iconic" pictures were shot using the Nikon F, a decent camera, or Nikon F Photomic, which I hated. It was an exercise in the worst ergonomics of any camera ever created. Nikon dropped a boatload of them on the press corps for free, though, so most of the pictures in the 60's were shot using Nikons.
